Here’s a gift for your “Top Chef!” This salt plate can be used for cooking or serving great food. Contrary to popular belief, this salt plates will not leave food tasting over-salted as they are intended for quick cooking foods as opposed to ‘low-and-slow’ foods. It gets its beautiful pink colour from the minerals that have been infused in it over time – manganese, magnesium, iron and zinc. Surprisingly, these salt blocks are great for holding heat and work similar to a griddle in that the heat is even right across the block.

Heat on the grill to sear seafood and meat, or chill for serving a selection of sushi, fruits, vegetables and cheeses.
