Description
This White Balsamic vinegar is aged to perfection with its mellow and rich flavour.
Giuseppe Giusti opened his vinegar business in Modena, Italy in 1598. Since 1605, the family continues to make their signature balsamic vinegar in the same building.
The family uses top quality white grapes, white wine vinegar, and natural fermentation methods. Furthermore, this mellow vinegar gives Northern Italian cooking one of its most celebrated flavours. Once aged in ash barrels from the 1900’s, their Bianco di Modena adds rich notes of ripe, yellow fruits, and dried citrus. The white grape must is blended with white wine vinegar. The grape must and white wine vinegar is then cooked at a low temperature to avoid any darkening.
White Balsamic Uses:
This wonderfully aged white balsamic is a sweeter alternative to champagne vinegar. It is a great addition to use on salads. It also compliments seafood or vegetarian dishes. With its fresh and balanced flavour, low acidity, sweet notes of ripe fruit, dried yellow fruits and citrus makes it ideal for any recipe.
