At Kitchen Connaisseur, our balsamic vinegar is from Modena, Italy. Each batch is carefully aged in oak barrels which furnish a rich, mellow flavour without harsh, acidic overtones. Most noteworthy, our balsamic is one of our top selling products, everyone loves it!
Additionally, when mixed with our Roasted Garlic Olive Oil, it makes a wonderful salad dressing or Bread Dip. Either try it in our Greek Salad recipe or Spinach Salad with Hot Basil Dressing. Surprise! Balsamic vinegar and chocolate are like hugs and kisses. They are a perfect match. I made the recipe for chocolate pots de creme at this website. http://www.foodanddrink.ca/lcbo-ear/RecipeController?language=EN&recipeType=1&action=recipe&recipeID=6548
The results were awesome. After making the recipe, I had egg whites to use up so I made chocolate hazelnut meringues and added Kitchen Connaisseur balsamic vinegar for a flavour boost. Yum!
